ethical living made simple

visit warren evans at a garden party to make a difference

the prince of wales is opening up his gardens this september, creating a unique festival in the heart of london.

a fantastic event called a garden party to make a difference. it aims to encourage people across the uk to celebrate   sustainable living and to take clear, practical and simple steps towards a better future.

this unique festival, held in the gardens at lancaster house, clarence house and marlborough house will run from 8th to 19th september and is open to the public from 10am to 6pm.

consider quirky installations, such as a giant showerhead, a tiled dome made from mud, a people-powered dance floor designed to show how a few simple and easy steps can make all the difference, to bring about positive change.

this is exactly why warren evans, the award winning ethical bed retailer, is delighted to get involved with this particular event.

all warren evans beds are handcrafted from forest stewardship council (fsc) certified wood. in fact he is the uk’s first fsc certified bed maker.

this means that every time you shop at warren evans you’re guaranteed a sustainable product that has been well managed at every stage of the process - right through the chain of custody, from the materials the bed is made from, how it is made in the company’s ethical workshop, to how it is delivered, completely wrapped in blankets to avoid wasteful packaging. it’s the simple things that make all the difference.

a well built bed is essential for a good night’s sleep and an investment that will last you a number of years. warren evans beds are built using mortise and tenon joints for added strength and durability, and will be enjoyed for generations.

warren evans will be at stand mg23 at a garden party to make a difference. the stand will feature a bedroom set-up, complete with a beautiful wooden bed, bedside tables and wardrobe, all handcrafted from fsc certified wood.

the entire bedroom set, worth over £2000 will be raffled off at the close of the event. tickets cost £2 and all proceeds will be donated to shelter, warren evans preferred charity.
