Tim Teeman of The Times was particularly impressed by 'couples lying in their favourite sleeping positions all over the shop', because as our sales staff told him, 'you don't get an idea of a bed by perching on the end.'

He compared the experience of buying from us very favourably against the bigger stores, and found that the hustle and bustle elsewhere was often 'not ideal conditions for simulating slumber', and described high street bed buying as 'infintely more dispiriting.'

'Intimate and relaxed', he enjoyed our friendly and knowledgeable approach, and the number of possible combinations of frames and mattresses available. And of course, Tim was fascinated by some of the celebrity shoppers we've supplied with beds as well.

I trawled the internet for many hours looking for a bed for my daughter that would fit in the alcove in her small room. I had admired the children's beds on the Warren Evans website but I didn't really want to spend too much money on a bed she would outgrow in a few years (by which time we will have hopefully moved house). However, we couldn't find anything else we liked as much so we visited the showroom in Bromley. One of the staff members told us about the "When they grow up" package which means for only £30 we can buy a kit to extend the bed to a full length single when required. What a fantastic idea! My duaghter's bed arrived today, on time, and was put together very quickly by two very friendly delivery men. I was very impressed and so is my daughter - she's fast asleep in it as I type.... Cannot recommend Warren Evans highly enough.
