How to check a new bed
Check if the firmness of the bed is right for you by lying flat on your back and putting your hand under the lower curve of your spine. Try moving your hand around and if it’s difficult to move, the bed is too soft. If you can move it freely then the bed’s too hard: your bed’s mattress should allow you to move your hand with a little resistance.
