Delivery
Where in the UK do you deliver & how much does it cost?
Warren Evans delivers to mainland England, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Newport. Our delivery service includes assembly and costs only £28 to these areas. For all other parts of Scotland & Wales we use a trusted courier company. Cost for this service is based on location and we will advise you of the exact cost when you call us.
Do I need to take a full day off work in order to receive delivery of my bed?
No. Our delivery department will call you two working days before your delivery date and give you a maximum of a four-hour window. Within your window our drivers are happy to call you as they leave the previous customer, giving you a helpful estimated time of arrival.
We are happy for you to leave a friend, family member or neighbour in your place if you are unable to make it home for your delivery.
How are my products delivered?
All our beds are made with traditional mortise & tenon joints. This allows them to be delivered in sections (headboard, footboard, slats & sides) and easily manoeuvered & assembled in your home. Mattresses are delivered sealed in plastic, for hygiene reasons. These are the largest items we deliver so please make sure your chosen size will fit up the stairs or around tight corners before you order!!
Our furniture (except our wardrobes) is constructed using solid dovetail joints, meaning it cannot be disassembled. Once again, please make sure the pieces you order will fit through the front door before you order!!
All our beds and furniture are safely wrapped in re-useable blankets to protect them during delivery, minimising waste and preventing damage.
What if I need to change my delivery date?
No problem. Give us a call ASAP and we will rearrange your delivery to the next available date. Missed deliveries may incur an extra cost.
How long does it take from order to delivery?
It only takes us three working days to manufacture your hand made bed, mattress & furniture. Then it's just a case of delivering & assembling your new bedroom furniture in your home. The delivery lead time varies depending on your location, though 7 to 10 days is the average.
Can I collect my order from one of your showrooms?
Yes you can. Beds, mattresses and furniture can be collected from our Camden Showroom or Walthamstow workshop. Collection times vary, we will advise you when you call.Smaller items like bedside cabinets and under bed storage can be collected from all showrooms and from our Walthamstow workshop.

I like your Sunday bed, what colours is it available in?
All our products are made to order. So you can have your new bedroom furniture in the style, size and colour of your choice!
How are your frames finished?
When you order you will be asked which of our wood stains you would like your frame finished in. We then lacquer your frame in a satin low gloss finish to protect your frame from knocks, scrapes and spills. If you prefer we can apply a traditional waxed finished just let us know when you order.
What type of base do your beds have?
All our bed frames have a slatted base. Each slat is made from solid pine, an inch thick. The slats are spaced approximately 2.5 – 3 inches apart and there are between 9 and 10 slats on each bed frame, dependent on the size of your bed. A slatted base allows your mattress to breathe, keeping you cooler and your mattress healthier.
Can I mix & match headboards & footboards?
Yes you can. Within each individual range (traditional or space saving) we are able to swap head & foot boards, at an additional cost (unfortunately this does not include the Brazil frame).
Do you make custom sizes?
Yes we do. We can make beds, mattresses and some of our furniture in sizes to suit you. Please call us to discuss your requirements. We are happy to make custom sizes, but you may have to wait slightly longer for your product to be made and customisations may incur an extra cost.
I need to make sure my chosen frame fits under the window sill/eaves. Can I call for measurements?
Yes of course. All our sales teams have readily available information on every measurement, customisation, weight and material! This applies to all our products
I want to compare your wood stains/fabric colours with my décor at home. Do you have samples?
Yes we do. Please click here to request wood samples and click here for fabric samples. Alternatively, call us to request your samples and we will post them to you.
How long are your products guaranteed for?
This varies a little - please see our Guarantees page for full information.
What wood are your frames & furniture made from?
All our beds and furniture are made from FSC certified Pine.
What does FSC certified mean?
The FSC is the Forest Stewardship Council, which promotes well managed forestry. Warren Evans is the first and only UK bed maker to be certified by the FSC.
Guarantees
How long are your products guaranteed for?
All bed frames & furniture are guaranteed for 10 years. Mattresses are guaranteed for up to 15 years. Please see our brochure or website for each mattress' actual guarantee period. Our guarantee covers manufacturing and materials.In the unlikely event that you need to claim under your guarantee, we will come to your home, at a time to suit you to correct the problem. We do not expect you to return any of your products to us. We take our commitment to customer service very seriously and extend that commitment right through your relationship with us.
