A few words about Delivery & Collection from Warren Evans

Your Warren Evans delivery

We deliver between 7:30am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you have arranged an evening delivery at an additional cost, it’ll be on a Wednesday between 6pm and 10pm.

We’ll give you a ring at least two days in advance tolet you know your allocated delivery window, which we plan carefully in order to save fuel and time. We are happy to keep in touch with you during the day of delivery; for example, just let us know if you’d like the team to call you before they arrive.

We pride ourselves on successfully delivering within our time slots, but occasionally nightmare traffic or other factors outside of our control can affect delivery times. Our team will always call you if there’s likely to be any delay.

If you need to postpone your delivery for any reason, please let us know three days prior to your delivery window.

If you’re out when we call…

If you’re not in when we try to deliver, we will leave a card with a number to call. Missed deliveries may incur an additional charge and available re-delivery windows may be dependent on your location.

We do the assembly for you

To help us guarantee the quickest and easiest installation and assembly of your furniture, please ensure there is clear access through hallways and staircases, and that the space for your bed or furniture is clear. It’s a good idea to move things like picture frames and vases too, just in case they accidentally get a bump.

The delivery team will carefully assemble your furniture and take away absolutely all the packaging.

If you’re using a courier service

If you are a fair way out of London, then we may have arranged for one of our preferred couriers to deliver your order. You will have been given an approximate delivery date.

The courier will call you once your furniture has been collected from our workshop, and can arrange a precise delivery slot with you directly.

Collecting from Warren Evans yourself

If you have arranged to collect your furniture from us, please remember to bring your receipt and please check which showroom you have arranged to collect from (we have four).

It’s also really important to bring some blankets to protect your goods, because our products come unpackaged, direct from our workshop. Mattresses are an exception to this, and come fully sealed in plastic.

Warren Evans Terms & Conditions

Products

• All of our products are handmade to order.
• All brochure descriptions of our products are correct at the time of going to press. We have a policy of continuous product development and reserve the right to amend the specifications of products without prior notice in relation to future sales.
• All wood species can react to sunlight and changes in temperature and humidity.
• Finishes are applied to the exterior of the beds, drawers and furniture. Due to the nature of the materials used, finishes may vary. Part of the charm of our natural wood products is there can be variation in colour, grain and knots. Our showroom models are within the expected characteristics of these products.
• We have a limited customisation service (i.e. longer length). There are adjustment costs on both frames and mattresses for this service.
• We require three full working days notice to add additional products to your order.

Measurements

• Beds are described and manufactured in terms of the size of the mattress required.
• All original frames are larger than the mattress size by approx 3½ inches (9cm) width & 4½ inches (11.5cm) length except the Sunday frame which is 6 inches (15cm) wider and longer.
• All Floating frames are 4½ inches (11.5cm) longer than the mattress. The width of the floating frames will be the width of the mattress.
• Mattress and frame sizes are manufactured to a tolerance of +/- one inch.
• Please ensure that you are fully aware of the frame dimensions and that they are suitable for the space you have allocated.
  

Pricing

• All our prices are inclusive of VAT.

Guarantees

• All our bed frames and furniture carry a 10 year guarantee covering workmanship and materials.
• Mattresses are guaranteed from 1 to 15 years, depending on the type.

• The above guarantees are in addition to and do not affect your statutory rights.
  

Cancellations / Amendments

• It is our customer responsibility to check that all the details on the order form are correct, including the exact specifications of the product and delivery details.
• For all items represented in our brochure or on our website, before delivery, we will retain 25% of the cancelled order value to offset our manufacturing and administration costs.
• If you have had your products delivered and have changed your mind, this will incur a 50% cancellation charge and a delivery/collection charge.
• Any customised or adjusted products are non refundable.
• Refunds are not authorised until stock items are returned to our Walthamstow Workshop.
  

Payment

• We request payment in full at the time of ordering.
• Warren Evans accepts all major credit cards except AMEX. Electron cannot be used on telesales / websales.
• Warren Evans also accepts personal cheques, which must be received and cleared before delivery.
• For security reasons we are unable to accept any payment on delivery.
• Goods cannot be delivered until full payment has been received.
  

Delivery and Assembly

• For some parts of Scotland or Wales we use a courier. On purchasing you will have been given an estimated lead time. The courier will call you once your furniture has been collected from our workshop to arrange a delivery date.
• For all other areas of the UK delivery dates will be arranged at the point of order. Our delivery department will contact you two days before delivery to give you a 2-4 hour time window.
• This delivery window is our best estimate and cannot be guaranteed due to delays beyond our control such as prevailing traffic conditions, etc. Our delivery team will call you to inform you if there are any delays. If you would like to contact the delivery department, please call 020 8501 8989.
• Regular day time deliveries are between 7.30am - 6pm. Evening deliveries are Wednesday evenings between 6pm - 10pm at an additional supplement of £25.
• Our charges vary depending on your location. We deliver almost anywhere in the UK, please call us for a delivery and assembly price on 020 7693 9393. Assembly is included in all our delivery costs except some parts of Scotland and Wales.
• Please ensure that clear access through hallways and stairways is available. A clear space for assembly in the designated room is also desirable.
• Our delivery team will exercise every caution and extend every courtesy during delivery and assembly. We cannot be held liable for any accidental damage to your property or person, however caused, and only enter your premises under these conditions.
• We request 3 working days notice if you wish to postpone your delivery.
  

Collections

• Full payment is to be made at point of order if you wish to collect your purchase.
• A full collection service is available from Camden on any day between 10.00am and 5.30pm.
• A full collection service is available from Walthamstow Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm.
• A limited collection service of smaller items i.e. bedside cabinets is available from our Clapham, Hammersmith and Shoreditch showrooms
• Please bring something (i.e. blankets) to protect your purchase in transport as we cannot be held responsible for any damages.
